This page exists because you should not have to guess where health information came from. It covers who produces Later Spring, how each kind of page is made, what has been checked and what has not.
Who publishes this
Later Spring Directory is an independent publisher. It is not a clinic, not a medical provider, and not affiliated with any professional society, health system or manufacturer. Nobody pays to be listed, nobody pays for placement, and there is no advertising on the site.
Where the directory data comes from
The 6,401 practitioner listings are compiled from two publicly accessible professional registers: the Menopause Society practitioner directory and the British Menopause Society register of recognised specialists. We index the factual fields each practitioner published about their own practice — name, credentials, address, phone, website, declared areas of expertise, payment types and telehealth availability.
We add no ratings, reviews or scores of our own, and we do not reproduce editorial content from either source. Fields such as areas of expertise are self-declared by the practitioner and are not verified by us. Data was last refreshed on .
How the data reports are made
Every figure in the data reports is counted directly from the listings above by code, not estimated or quoted from elsewhere. Numbers shown on the site are computed at build time rather than typed in, so a figure on one page cannot drift out of step with the same figure on another. Each report states what it can and cannot measure.
How the guides are written
The guides are drafted with AI assistance and edited by a human before publication. We think you are entitled to know that, so we say it here rather than leaving it implied.
They deliberately cover the process of getting care — how to prepare for an appointment, how to verify a licence, what the credentials mean, how telehealth licensing works. They deliberately do not give clinical guidance on whether you personally should take a particular treatment. That distinction is intentional: it is the part we can stand behind without a clinician on staff.
What has not been clinically reviewed
No page on this site has yet been reviewed by a named clinician. Where a page carries a reviewer, their name and credentials appear on it. Where no reviewer is named, none has reviewed it, and the page says so. We would rather show an empty slot than imply a medical sign-off that has not happened.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Practitioners can correct or remove their own listing at any time, without giving a reason, via the practitioner page. For anything else, email hello@laterspring.com. Substantive corrections to a guide or report are noted on the page itself.
