Certified menopause practitioners

3,969 of the 6,401 practitioners listed here hold MSCP, the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner credential, previously written NCMP. It is awarded after a competency exam on menopause management and has to be maintained, which is why it is the one qualification this directory filters on.

It is a marker of focus, not a ranking of skill. Plenty of excellent clinicians treat menopause without it, and holding it does not guarantee a good fit for you. Read it as one signal among several, alongside what a practitioner treats and how they are paid. More on what certification means.
